Dinner will be provided, on Friday evening, along with a short department presentation. Also on Friday will be a formal review of rules and procedures. This will be video streamed from LSU.
Saturday morning, there will be a few small breakfast-like items (probably just some donuts). Teams wanting a more substantial breakfast should be sure to eat before arriving.
Team locations for the contest will be posted on Saturday morning. Be sure to arrive early enough to be able to make it to your computers in time for the practice contest at 9:15. When the practice contest is over, teams will return to room 124. All machines will be wiped again so no code or data will be left on them. Lunch will be served and a rules clarification session (streamed from LSU) will be held.
At noon, the contest will start and run for 5 hours. Following this there will be supper. A problem review by the judges, and announcements of winners, will be streamed from the LSU site during this time.
Next, we will have the formal review of the rules and procedures. Any and all questions will be taken at this time (hopefully answered also). It is important for all teams to be present during this time (if possible).
Make sure you find out where you will be competing in time to make it to your spot by 9:15 AM.
Saturday at 9:15 AM, the practice contest will start.
Lunch will be served and a last minute Rules Clarification Session will be held.
At noon, the contest will start and run for 5 hours. At 5:30 PM we will review the problem set in room 124. Due to the separate sites we will not have an awards banquet. There will be supper in room 124 and a problem review by the judges streamed from LSU.
